Our 3-Step Dustless Refinishing Process
Our dustless hardwood floor refinishing process restores scratched, worn and dated hardwood flooring while keeping airborne sanding dust to a minimum.

#1: Setup & Surface Preparation
We begin by inspecting and preparing the hardwood floor for sanding.
Loose boards, exposed nails and damaged areas are identified, surrounding areas are protected and our dust-containment equipment is prepared before sanding begins.

#2: Dustless Sanding & Staining
Professional sanding equipment connected to powerful vacuum systems removes the existing finish, surface scratches and worn top layer of the hardwood while capturing most of the sanding dust at the source.
Once the floor has been properly sanded, you can keep a more natural wood appearance or select a stain colour to update the look of the flooring.

#3: Finishing & Quality Check
After sanding and staining are complete, we apply professional-grade water-based or oil-based floor finish in the selected sheen.
Once the finishing process is complete, the flooring is inspected for consistency and overall finish quality.

Dustless Hardwood Floor Refinishing for Scarborough Homes, Condos & Commercial Spaces
Hardwood flooring does not always need to be replaced when it becomes scratched, dull or dated.
When the existing wood is still structurally sound and has enough usable material remaining, professional sanding and refinishing can remove the worn surface and restore the appearance of the floor.
Scarborough has many established homes with older hardwood and parquet flooring. Floors that have been covered by carpet, heavily worn through years of use or finished in an outdated colour can often be evaluated for restoration before replacement is considered.
Our dustless refinishing service includes proper preparation, professional sanding, optional staining and application of a durable protective finish.
Dust-containment equipment connected to our sanding machines captures most sanding dust directly at the source, making the process significantly cleaner than traditional floor sanding.
We provide hardwood floor refinishing for houses, condos and suitable commercial properties throughout Scarborough.
If damaged boards need to be repaired before refinishing, visit our Hardwood Floor Repair Scarborough page. For staircases that need to be restored at the same time, visit our Stair Refinishing Scarborough page.
